Our facility has grown as well, adding more than 20 employees and over $1M in new testing and repair equipment since 2005, including new lathes and machining equipment (2012 and 2014), a new Baker 13KV winding analyzer (2013), new rotor balancing equipment with vibration analysis and 10,000lb test stand (2012), Micron thermal imaging camera (2008), Easy-Laser laser alignment set-up (2011), and multiple Fluke power analysis meters with data-logging capability (2005-2013). We have also added a fleet of service and transportation vehicles, including (2) medium duty crane trucks with 7500lb lift capacity (2012 and 2013), (1) large crane truck with 18000lb lift capacity (2007), and (2) new flatbed delivery trucks (2010 and 2013) with up to 35,000lb carrying capacity.
In addition to adding new equipment, we have continued to hire and train top technicians. Our staff of 36 employees now boasts of (6) state-licensed electricians, including (1) Master Electrician and (5) Journeyman electricians, 2 machinists, 4 motor winders, 2 pump technicians, 6 electric motor mechanical technicians, and 5 apprentices. Our in-house training includes the complete Vo-Tech training program published and produced by EASA, and is consistent with our strict adherence to EASA repair standards.
We also take full advantage of training offered by the manufacturers we represent, and our employees have factory service certifications from ABB, Teco-Westinghouse, Weg, ABS/Sulzer, Square D, Eaton/Cutler Hammer, Siemens, Koyo, National Electric Carbon, Easy-Laser and Micron. We have implemented our own policy for continuous improvement, which includes logging of communications with customers, pre and post repair inspection reports, root-cause failure analysis, and regularly scheduled safety meetings.
We are registered with PICS – the world’s largest contractor pre-certification and management firm, and have been registered as an EASA repair facility for over 40 consecutive years.
